Technology Wizards will be hosting a Windows 7 Launch Event at our October Meeting.
Note: Our meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 13th, instead of our normal 2nd Wednesday of the month. The meeting will begin at 1:00pm.
This event is targeted at IT Consultants, VARs that sell and/or support systems with Windows Operating Systems and Networks.
This event is not intended for the general public.
Our Launch event featured presenter will be Chris Avis, IT Evangelist, Microsoft. Chris is an engaging presenter and has conducted presentations previously for Technology Wizards.
There is no cost to attend, but registration and a ticket is required, as seating is limited.
With so much material to cover regarding the new Windows 7, we have extended the length of our meeting to 4 hours.
Snacks and Drinks will be provided.

About Chris Avis
Chris started his career at Microsoft in 1994 as a contract customer service representative during the Windows 95 launch. At the time, he did not know who Bill Gates was or what Microsoft did prior to applying with the company. Why? He was a hard core Apple user and had been since the late 70's.
Chris left the company as a contractor in 1996 and returned 1 year later as a full time employee supporting networking technologies for Windows NT 4.0 Server and client connectivity. Shortly afterwards, he started supporting the Small Business Server product.
In 2002, Chris took on the role of IT Evangelist and speaking to IT Professionals about the great products and technologies Microsoft had to offer.
